Danil “donk” Kryshkovets is the player who broke the sniper era. For seven years the top of the HLTV rating had belonged exclusively to AWPers — s1mple, ZywOo, device. donk arrived as an 17-year-old entry fragger in 2024, posted a 1.70 rating at IEM Katowice, and won HLTV Player of the Year in his first full professional season, the youngest player ever to do so. He followed it with the Perfect World Shanghai Major in December 2024, taking the MVP as the youngest Major champion and the highest-rated Major MVP in history. Aggressive entries used to be treated as a sacrificial role. He made it the most valuable one on the server.
donk plays CS2 at 800 DPI with 1.25 in-game sensitivity — an eDPI of 1000, or roughly 41.6 cm per 360° turn. He uses a ZOWIE x donk mouse, a custom spring-green Classic Static crosshair with thickness 1.5 and gap −4 (share code CSGO-VeUo2-qw76k-xJeKX-izb9a-GVOAK), 1000 Hz polling and Windows sensitivity 4. His zoom sensitivity is 1.00 and he plays 1280×960 stretched on 4:3.
donk's numbers are not just good — several of them are records, and they were set at an age when most players are still in an academy roster. Read the headline row as a timeline: rookie season, then Player of the Year, then Major MVP, then a second consecutive top-two finish. That is four years compressed into three.

At 1000 eDPI donk sits about 18% above the professional average of roughly 846. That is a deliberate fit for an entry fragger: clearing a site means turning onto angles constantly, and a low sensitivity would make him lose that race. Note his Windows sensitivity is 4 rather than the usual 6 — but with raw input enabled that value has no effect on in-game aiming, so it is cosmetic.
About 41.6 cm per 360° — almost exactly in the middle of the range the top CS2 players occupy (s1mple is at ~34 cm, sh1ro at ~50 cm). To match it at a different DPI, hold DPI × sensitivity constant: at 400 DPI that is 2.50, at 1600 DPI it is 0.63.

Classic Static · custom · length 1 · thickness 1.5 · gap -4 · no outline, no centre dot. A negative gap pulls the four inner lines inward until they overlap slightly at the centre, which keeps the middle of your screen clear while still giving a precise aim point.
We store this share code alongside the settings above and re-check that the two agree. Last verified September 10, 2026. Share codes change — if this one imports a crosshair that looks different, the player has changed it since.
A gap of −4 with length 1 and thickness 1.5 — thicker than the hairline crosses most AWPers use, which is the point: donk is a rifler who needs the cross to stay visible during a fast spray transfer, not just for a single precise tap. The colour is set as a custom spring green (RGB 0, 255, 165) rather than the yellow preset he used through 2025. Green is the one hue that almost never occurs naturally in CS2's dust-and-sandstone palette, so it stays legible against both bright walls and dark corners — and unlike yellow it does not wash out on Mirage. Outline thickness is set to 0 and alpha to full 255, so the cross is opaque with no halo.
Crosshairs change. If one of these looks different in game, you are looking at an older snapshot — the code at the top of this section is the one in the current verified set.
Preset position 2 with offset X 2.5 pulls the weapon model down and right, minimising screen obstruction. For an entry fragger this matters more than it does for anyone else: he is the player who has to clear the widest angle of view first, and a weapon model that covers the left third of the screen is a genuine disadvantage when you are the first one through a door. Offset Z −1.5 pulls the gun back toward the camera, shrinking its on-screen size further.
donk runs CS2 with no launch options at all. That is unusually clean and increasingly common among the newer generation: on modern hardware the frame-time benefit of flags like -high or -threads is negligible, and every flag is one more variable that might behave differently on a tournament machine. His settings are configured in-game and persist through Steam Cloud.
Built from donk's published values. He runs no launch options, so this needs to be executed manually or bound to a key — save it as autoexec.cfg in Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\cfg\ and run exec autoexec.cfg in the console.
donk keeps textures, shaders and particles at Low but shadows at High with dynamic shadows All. That combination is deliberate and common among entry fraggers: low environmental detail removes visual noise during a fast entry, while high shadows still render the silhouette of a player standing behind a corner. Shadows are the one graphical setting that carries gameplay information he cannot get from his teammates' comms.
donk's most distinctive hardware choice is not a setting at all: he plays on a 240 Hz panel while most of his direct rivals are on 360 Hz or 600 Hz displays. At his level that is a deliberate trade rather than a budget compromise — the XL2546K's DyAc+ strobing produces unusually clean motion during a spray, and frame pacing at 240 Hz is easier to keep perfectly consistent than at 600 Hz. ZOWIE has not published his full OSD configuration, so only the confirmed values are listed here.
Rotating, player-centred radar with the map zoomed all the way out (0.4) and a slightly enlarged HUD (1.05). For an entry fragger the radar matters less than for an anchor — he is usually the one creating the information rather than reacting to it — but the wide zoom still shows where his teammates are set before he commits to a site.
A ZOWIE collaboration mouse built to donk's specification, released as part of the ZOWIE x donk line. ZOWIE has never published a full spec sheet for the retail version, so treat the numbers as provisional. What matters more is the shape: a symmetrical medium body suits the claw grip an entry fragger needs for rapid horizontal adjustments during a site take.
Peripherals change more often than settings. Where trackers disagree, both values are listed rather than picking one.
The number that explains everything else is the 2024 IEM Katowice rating of 1.70 — matched only by NiKo in 2017, and achieved across more maps against tougher opposition. What it means practically is that donk's entry role does not lower his ceiling the way the position historically did. Before him, opening the site was a job where you traded your rating for your team's map win. He does both.

donk is the first true superstar entry fragger in Counter-Strike history. Before him, the player who opened a site was expected to trade his own rating for his team's map win — you took the dangerous first duel so your star could clean up. donk reversed that: he is both the one taking the first duel and the one winning the map.
donk is usually compared to NiKo, because they occupy the same position and because donk tied one of NiKo's records. The comparison is fair in role and misleading in outcome.
donk and NiKo sit at opposite ends of the sensitivity range (1000 vs 560 eDPI) for the same role. Entry fragging does not have a required sensitivity — what it requires is the decision to take the first duel. That is the part you can actually learn.
donk's game is more copyable than s1mple's, because it rests on decisions rather than outlier mechanics. If you want to play like him, these are the parts that transfer.
donk uses 800 DPI with 1.25 in-game sensitivity, giving him 1000 eDPI — roughly 41.6 cm per 360° turn, close to the middle of the range top CS2 players occupy.

4. With raw input enabled this value does not affect in-game aiming, so it is effectively cosmetic.
CSGO-VeUo2-qw76k-xJeKX-izb9a-GVOAK. It is a Classic Static crosshair, custom spring green (RGB 0, 255, 165), with length 1, thickness 1.5 and a gap of −4, and no outline or centre dot.
Green almost never appears naturally in CS2's dust-and-sandstone map palette, so the cross stays legible against both bright walls and dark corners. He uses a custom green (RGB 0, 255, 165) rather than a preset, which lets him tune the exact shade. He used a yellow crosshair through 2025 and switched during 2026.
Open Settings → Game → Crosshair, click “Share or import”, paste CSGO-VeUo2-qw76k-xJeKX-izb9a-GVOAK and confirm. Check that the colour is a custom green and the gap is −4, since local overrides sometimes survive an import.

Entry fragger.
Because he did not trade his rating for the role. Historically an entry fragger was expected to die first in exchange for map control; donk posts AWPer-level ratings while playing the most exposed position on the server.
Aggressive but selective. He takes the opening duel when the odds favour him and declines it when they do not — the reputation is more aggressive than the actual decision-making, which is why his game is more copyable than it looks.
They play different positions and different eras. s1mple has three HLTV Player of the Year awards across a 12-year career; donk has one in three years but holds more age-based records. The more useful comparison is stylistic — s1mple attacks with the AWP, donk attacks with a rifle.
He has been in the conversation since 2024 and finished #1 in 2024 and #2 in 2025. The main rival for the top spot is m0NESY, who took the IEM Cologne Major 2026 MVP.
It is a reasonable place to start if you play an aggressive role — 1000 eDPI is close to mid-range and does not carry the risk that s1mple's 1236 does. But the decision-making matters more than the number.
