Overview

Blizzard dropped the "2" in February 2025 — this is just Overwatch again, and our database now covers it that way too. One honest note up front: our Overwatch sample (39 tracked pros) has near-complete gear records but too few settings entries to publish distributions — so this page shows what pros pick, not what they dial in.

Abilities and aim, per hero

Overwatch is Blizzard's 5v5 hero shooter, and its recent history is a story about identity: launched as Overwatch 2 in October 2022 (a free replacement for the original that also cut 6v6 to 5v5), then rebranded back to simply Overwatch on its tenth anniversary in February 2025, with a yearly story model and finer sub-roles replacing the promise of a sequel. For aim hardware it is a split screen — hitscan heroes demand precision flicks, projectile heroes demand tracking, and different heroes within one roster can need opposite sensitivities. That is why we publish gear only for this title: our 39 tracked pros' settings fields are too sparse to report honestly.

The pro circuit in brief

Overwatch esports runs on the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) — regional stages through the year, capped by LAN events: Champions Clash in Tokyo in May, the Midseason Championship inside the Esports World Cup (won by ZETA DIVISION in August 2026), and the World Finals in China December 2–6. As of September 2026, that final is the season's biggest remaining prize.

What this data covers

The Overwatch gear breakdown above is drawn from ProAiming's live database of professional Overwatch setups — 39 players tracked. Mouse, mousepad, monitor and keyboard records are near-complete for this sample; sensitivity fields are not, so this page deliberately publishes gear data only. When settings coverage crosses the line where we can report it honestly, we will add it.

Maybe you just want to know what your favorite Overwatch stars actually run. Players like Jjonak, Lip and Whoru, and organizations from the OWCS era, are all covered. Head to the Overwatch player list to browse every record, or open an individual page for the full loadout.

The database is refreshed as new configurations come in — including coverage of the rebrand from Overwatch 2 back to Overwatch. Spot a mistake or an outdated entry? Tell us — we correct it and keep the data as current as the pro scene.
